珠江医院（原第一军医大学第二附属医院）是一所集医教研为一体的综合性教学医院，2004年8月随第一军医大学整体移交广东省。医院占地面积9.8万平方米，建筑面积16.9万平方米，业务用房面积5.6万平方米，正在建设中的新医疗区建筑面积为16.4万平方米。1994年被评为军队首批三级甲等医院，并获全军“白求恩杯”优质服务先进单位称号；1997年被评为爱婴医院；2000年被国家卫生部确定为国际紧急救援中心网络医院；2001年成为广东省首批社会医疗保险和社会工伤保险定点医疗机构。Zhujiang Hospital, as the second affiliated... morehospital of Southern Medical University, incorporates the very latest advances in medical technology and patient care. The 1,000-bed hospital has also expanded their medical service by establishing 80 beds for overseas patients. In 1994, the hospital was appraised as one of “First Class Hospitals at Grade III” and awarded “Bethune Cup” for its quality service. In 1997, it was appraised as Baby Friendly Hospital, and specified by Ministry of Health as a network hospital of International Rescue Center in 2000 and as the hospital at first group for social medical insurance and industrial injury insurance in 2001.
