CoLours TV was created by Black Star Communications (BSC), a non-profit corporation organized to operate exclusively for civic, charitable, and educational purposes. African American leaders in Denver, Colorado formed BSC because they had a vision to develop a multimedia platform that disseminates information on issues that have an impact on people of color.
