September and December VNLP releases attractive and entertaining works of literature by three different Vietnamese authors at our website, where we will provide active support to teachers and students from research specialists on those authors, all without charge. VNLP presents these materials, emphasizing fiction and poetry but including other forms with an eye to existing demand for certain topics, speaking to demand for literature relevant to the war with the United States and to Vietnamese immigration here. VNLP also selects works that can support more generalized teaching related to personal identity and rites of passage in the contemporary, diverse world. VNLP provides annotation, commentary and interactive support to place these materials in a broader Vietnamese, Asian and world context.
